What’s new for the New Year?

Small Blue Ginger Jar 6x6.jpg

Saying that 2020 was a different kind of year is an understatement. I hope that it made us all stop to think of what is truly important, what and who really brings us joy and what we plan to do about it.

January always fills me with hope. I start going through seed catalogues and planning the garden for Spring and think about projects for the rest of the year. So, what am I looking forward to in 2021?

I ordered about 18 new roses from David Austin Roses, 15 chicks of different breeds (the plan was to order 7, but then I went through the chicken catalogue, and things happen) and will add one more colony of bees to the apiary. One of the most important projects is to add a fenced-in garden to keep the deer from eating my roses and other plants. Next is to tile the sunroom to turn it into a mini greenhouse. I already made a long table for it.

But first things first: the website was finally updated. It took a few long days, and surely still to need lots of tweaks. So, I would greatly appreciate your feedback when you see that something is in need of improvement.

Thank you so much for being one of my bright spots in 2020 and for encouraging me, supporting my work and giving me hope.

I wish you and your loved ones have a happy and healthy 2021!

Hugs,

Carolina
